How to Create an Account and Download Your Plugins

This article applies to purchases made on store.pixelfilmstudios.com

Interested in purchasing Pixel Film Studios plugins? You’ll need to create an account to get started.

Because all products are digital downloads, your account is required to access, manage, and install your purchases.

Step 1: Create Your Account

1. Go to the Pixel Film Studios website
2. Click the Account icon in the top-right corner
3. On the login page, click:
   “Don’t have an account? Create one”

Sign-up options:

• Email + Password
• Continue with Google
• Continue with Apple

Important notes:

• If you sign up with Google or Apple, you will not have a password for the site
• Instead, you will use an App Login Key to access the PFS Installer
• If you sign up with email, your email address cannot be changed later
• Passwords can be reset anytime using the “Forgot password?” link

Step 2: Understanding Your Account Dashboard

Once logged in, you’ll have access to several tabs:

Overview

• Displays your account info and quick stats
• Shows your App Login Key (used for logging into the PFS Installer if you signed up with Google or Apple)

My Plugins

• Lists all plugins associated with your account

Download Plugins

• Provides access to download the PFS Installer

Installing Your Plugins

To install your purchases, you’ll need the PFS Installer.

Step 1: Install the PFS Installer

1. Open the downloaded .dmg file
2. Drag the PFS Installer into the Applications folder
3. Close the installer window

Step 2: Launch and Log In

1. Open the PFS Installer from your Applications folder
2. Log in using:
   • Your email and password, or
   • Your App Login Key

If using an App Login Key:

• Click “Have an app key?” at the bottom of the installer
• Copy your key from your account dashboard
• Paste it into the installer and click Sign In

Step 3: Install Your Plugins

• Navigate to the My Downloads tab inside the PFS Installer
• Click Install on any product you own

Orders

• View your purchase history and invoices
• Order details cannot be modified

Account Details

• Update your:
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Display Name

Security

• Change your password at any time
• If you forget your password:
  • Click “Forgot password?” on the login page
  • Check your inbox (and spam folder) for the reset email

Final Notes

• All purchases are tied to your account
• Plugins are installed through the PFS Installer, not downloaded individually
• Your purchased plugins will be available in the My Downloads section

Once your account is set up, you’re ready to browse, purchase, and install plugins with ease.
