If your plugin appears as installed in the PFS Installer but you do not see the presets inside Final Cut Pro, the issue is often caused by active search filters inside the Final Cut Pro library browser.
In many cases, the plugin folder itself will appear, but the individual presets inside the folder may remain hidden due to active search settings.
Common Cause: Active Search Filters
Final Cut Pro library browsers include filtering options such as:
- 4K
- HDR
- Search text filters
If any of these filters are active, Final Cut Pro may temporarily hide presets that do not match the selected criteria.
How to Remove Search Filters
To clear the filters:
- Open the affected library browser in Final Cut Pro
- Titles
- Effects
- Generators
- Transitions
- Locate the search bar near the top of the browser
- Click the magnifying glass icon inside the search field
- Disable any active filters such as:
- 4K
- HDR
- Remove any text currently entered into the search field
Once the filters have been cleared, the presets should reappear normally inside the plugin folder.
